| Fund Investment Strategy |
|
| a) |
TIF offers the best of both equity and bond markets.
Investment into the bond yields higher return than conventional deposit
rates, which is crucial for long term investors who seek better returns
than inflation rate to see money growing, literally saying. Apart from
investing in bonds, the Fund is also adequately exposed into equities. |
| b) |
The Fund follows a strict selection process to ensure
only appropriate securities are invested with respect to the investment
objective. The fund manager emphasises strong bias towards trustee and
defensive stocks to maximise stocks returns in terms of dividend income. |
| c) |
To illustrate further, the equity market is more often
than not inversely correlated to the bond market. This is simply due to
outflow of funds from fixed income market to equity market. An investor
will be able to participate in such dynamic allocations of overweighting
on equity when the market is on an upbeat mood while reducing stockholding
on fixed income. Similarly, when the bullish tone shifts to the bond market,
the clients' portfolio by switching from equity to overweight in fixed
income. The allocation of funds is determined through meticulous investment
decision process. |
