Application for purchase of Units must be submitted by completing the account opening form and accompanied with other required forms whenever relevant.

The completed documents must be attached together with proof of payment. Bank charges, where relevant, will be borne by investors. The validity of the transaction is dependent upon clearance of the payment made to us.

The cut-off time of submission is at 4.00 p.m. on any Business Day, can it be via fax, post or walk-in. Submission received after 4.00 pm will be deemed received the next Business Day. Any application that is unclear, incomplete and/ or not accompanied by the required documents will not be processed.

  • Complete the Account Opening Form.
  • Submit with copy of NRIC or passport.
  • Attached proof of payment and copy of bank statement or bank book.
  • For EPF investment, required to complete the KWSP 9N (AHL) Form.
  • For corporate investment submit additional documents as mention below;
    • CRS self-certification form – entity
    • CRS self-certification form – controlling person
    • Certified true copy of NRIC or passport or other form of identification of directors
    • A certified true copy of the certificate of incorporation; memorandum and article of association; form 24 or return for the allotment of shares under section 78 of the Companies Act 2016, form 44 or notice under section 46 of the Companies Act 2016 and form 49 or notice under section 58 of the Companies Act 2016; board resolution with list of authorised signatories and company seal (if applicable)
    • Latest financial statement
  • Complete the Investment Form.
  • Attached proof of payment and copy of bank statement or bank book.
  • For EPF investment, required to complete the KWSP 9N (AHL) Form.
  • For corporate investment, to submit certified true copy of board resolution with list of authorised signatories and company seal (if applicable)
  • Complete the Transaction Form.
  • Attached copy of bank statement or bank book.
  • Complete the Transaction Form.
  • Investor suitability assessment form (for switching to new investment fund).
  • For corporate investment, a certified true copy of the board resolution with list of Authorised signatories and company seal (if applicable).
  • Complete the Transaction Form.
  • Submit with copy of NRIC or passport.
  • If transferee is new account holder, submit the document as per new investment.
  • If transferee is new corporate investor, submit the document as per new corporate investment.

Procedure of Online Applications.

  • Open TAIM Main Website (https://www.tainvest.com.my/)
  • Navigate to “Fund Information” and “Forms” to view electronic prospectus and the electronic application form respectively.
  • Click to download the documents.

Applicant can open an online transaction account with TAIM via:.
EPF i-Akaun (https://secure.kwsp.gov.my/member/member/login) – for EPF members only.

  • i. Login into EPF i-Invest (https://secure.kwsp.gov.my/member/member/login).
  • ii. Select the buy details accordingly and choose TAIM as FMI. User will be re-directed automatically to TAIM eInvest.
  • iii. Fill in the details page by page as requested.
    • a. Registration – for login details (username, password and security phrase) to eInvest.
    • b. Account opening (Personal, contact, employment, tax residency status).
    • c. Declaration.

Applicant can transact via 2 ways:

EPF i-Invest (https://secure.kwsp.gov.my/member/member/login)

  • i. Login to EPF i-Invest.
  • ii. Click on Investment tab.
  • iii. Navigate to Transaction – Redeem/Switch.
  • iv. Select the fund to redeem and click on the “Proceed to Redeem”. User will be re-directed automatically to TAIM eInvest.
  • v. Login to TAIM eInvest.
  • vi. Choose fund to redeem (Current Fund dropdown) and fill in the number of units to redeem (Units to Redeem box) as needed. Click “Next” button.
  • vii. Check confirmation and click “Submit” button.
  • viii.Check summary. Click “Done”.

TAIM eInvest (https://eportal.tainvest.com.my/

  • i. Login to TAIM eInvest.
  • ii. Click “Fund Redemption” menu at left panel.
  • iii. Choose fund to redeem (Current Fund dropdown) and fill in the number of units to redeem (Units to Redeem box) as needed. Click “Next” button.
  • iv. Check confirmation and click “Submit” button.
  • v. Check summary. Click “Done”.

Applicant can transact via 2 ways:

EPF i-Invest (https://secure.kwsp.gov.my/member/member/login)

  • i. Login to EPF i-Invest.
  • ii. Click on Investment tab.
  • iii. Navigate to Transaction – Redeem/Switch.
  • iv. Select the fund to switch and click on the “Proceed to Switch”. User will be re-directed automatically to TAIM eInvest.
  • v. Login to TAIM eInvest.
  • vi. Choose fund to switch from (Switch From dropdown) and fund to switch to (Switch To dropdown) and fill in the number of units to switch (Units to Switch box) as needed. Click “Next” button.
  • vii. Check confirmation and click “Submit” button.
  • viii.Check summary. Click “Done”.

TAIM eInvest (https://eportal.tainvest.com.my)

  • i. Login to TAIM eInvest.
  • ii. Click “Fund Switching” menu at left panel.
  • iii. Choose fund to switch from (Switch From dropdown) and fund to switch to (Switch To dropdown) and fill in the number of units to switch (Units to Switch box) as needed. Click “Next” button.
  • iv. Check confirmation and click “Submit” button.
  • v. Check summary. Click “Done”.

For EPF investment, no transfer is allowed.

A cooling-off right is refund of investment within 6 business days from the day the investment is accepted or deemed accepted by the Manager. Cooling-off right is only given to an individual investor who is investing in any of TA Investment Management Berhad funds for the first time and is not applicable for the following person:

  • A staff of TAIM; and
  • A person registered with a body approved by the SC to deal in unit trusts.

The refund will be based on:

  • a) The NAV per Unit on the day the Units were first purchased; and
  • b) The Sales Charge per Unit originally imposed on the day the Units were purchased.
